BENEFITING: PHILADELPHIA ANIMAL WELFARE SOCIETY
EVENT DATE: Nov 18, 2012
It doesn't take knowing me well to know that I LOVE animals. My iphone is filled with photos of my cats, Winston and Savannah, and my Facebook is filled with random photos of cats that my friends have tagged me in. But, it's not just cats that I love...it's all animals and I recognize how much happiness and joy a pet can bring to any home.
That is why I am raising money for PAWS, Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society. PAWS gave me my two cats, Winston and Savannah last November. They provide homes for over 12,000 homeless, abandoned, and unwanted cats and dogs annually. PAWS is the largest NO-KILL shelter working to lower the city's use of euthanasia as a means of population control for healthy and treatable pets. That means that the more money we raise, the more cats and dogs we can take off the streets to provide them with loving families and warm homes.
Remember, EVERY LITTLE BIT HELPS. Whether you give $1, $5, even $20 if you can, no donation will go un-spent! PLEASE make me the happiest runner in the world by HELPING ME REACH MY GOAL OF $500 before the Philadelphia Half Marathon on NOVEMBER 18, 2012.
THANK YOU THANK YOU SO SO MUCH!
