Run Any Race

THE STORY:

To my Dear Friends and Family,

This fall I will be running the Philadelphia Marathon in support of the Hall Steps Foundation.  The Steps Foundation is a relatively new charity developed by professional runners Ryan and Sara Hall to support those in need such as clean water through World Vision, justice through International Justice Mission, and healthcare through their sponsoring of hospital projects in Kenya.

I have many reasons to run but the most important is to honor God through this talent He has given me.  I believe the Steps Foundation give me the opportunity to use a selfish talent and turn it into something good.  In addition I will be running in memory of my friend and teammate Paige who left to see the Lord last year and smallgroup member Jeffrey who passed while running the Philadelphia Half-Marathon in 2011.

I hope you can partner with me either in prayer or contribution as I run for this cause.

God Bless.
