BENEFITING: Crohn's & Colitis Foundation
EVENT DATE: Nov 09, 2014
Family and Friends,
I am running the Veteran's Day 10 K on November 9, 2014, in Washington DC. I have decided that running a 10 K would be even more special if it could raise awareness and benefit a cause that's very important to me and affects many families. As a result, I'd ask that you donate whatever you can (even if it's the $10 minimum) to this campaign. ALL OF THE MONEY will be donated to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America.
The Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) is a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization dedicated to finding the cures for Crohn's Disease and ulcerative colitis. It was founded in 1967.
CCFA's mission is to cure Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, and to improve the quality of life of children and adults affected by these diseases. Since its founding over four decades ago, CCFA has remained at the forefront of research in Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. Today, CCFA funds cutting-edge studies at major medical institutions, nurture investigators at the early stages of their careers, and finance underdeveloped areas of research.
