On Sunday, April 26, we will both be participating, along with our families and friends, in the OUR HOUSE Run for Hope.
After experiencing the death of a parent at a young age, we were both fortunate enough to be participants in children’s support groups at Our House. Now, we are proud to give back as teen leaders, helping to provide support to those who are experiencing the grief and pain that we know all too well.
The Run for Hope is an opportunity to come together as a community and remember our loved ones who have died. Though one might expect the event to be sad, in reality it is a truly uplifting and meaningful experience, focusing not on grief itself but rather on our ability to overcome it while celebrating the memories of our lost loved ones.
Grief affects all – our communities, our families, our schools- and Our House is always present to offer support. In our personal cases, grief came much too early. Please consider sponsoring us by making a generous donation so that Our House can continue to help the children, adults and families who have gone through this universal experience.
Thank you very much.
