As some of you know, I'm fortunate to serve on the Board of Directors of Nazareth Farm, a small Catholic nonprofilt in rural West Virginia. For nearly four decades now, Nazareth Farm has welcomed high school and college students from around the country to rural West Virginia for weekly service retreats in which students work on projects aimed at redressing substandard housing conditions in the region of Appalachia, one of the poorest areas of our country. The kids attending retreats at Nazareth Farm go out and fix roofs, help insulate homes, and work on many other desperately needed home repair projects. Most importantly, the young people who attend Nazerth Farm service retreats truly learn the value of selfless service and the importance of working toward a greater good.
On May 8-9th, I'll be running the Cape Cod Ragnar Relay -- a 200-mile relay race -- with 11 other team members to help raise needed funds so that Nazareth Farm can continue its important work in rural Appalachia, and, more importantly, continue to help young people experience the value of selfless service. Please help me reach my pesonal goal of $1000 in funds raised by donating today. Thank you for your considieration. #RunforNazFarm
