BENEFITING: BIOMEDICAL RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF NEW JERSEY INC
EVENT DATE: Aug 15, 2014
Hi everyone! My name is Dana Farkas and I am a sophmore at Northeastern University in Boston studying Chemical Engineering and Mathematics.
This summer at BRInj, I am working on a project focused on nitric oxide mediated cell death, which may occur in the brains of premature babies due to lack of oxygenation. I am testing and researching various natural supplements in a cell model in an effort to find a compound that protects cells from such damage.
This opportunity at the Biomedical Research Institute of New Jersey has made me truly appreciate and realize the importance of research; it is giving me priceless knowledge and experience about the field of science.
By supporting this project you can help eager students like myself pursue their dreams and careers in science.
Please help us make this possible. Thank you in advance for your donation!
