The last two years I have planned to run the NYC Marathon on behalf of a charity. Running for a purpose when I'm hurting and on my last legs is always a little easier when I'm doing it for a reason. I have run historically for Team for Kids, but have chosen this year to run for the Boy's and Girl's Club of my hometown. Given what occurred during Hurricane Sandy last year and the tragedy of the Boston Marathon, I had to find a way to make an impact. Can you help?
