BENEFITING: SPINAL CORD INJURY ASSOCIATION OF ILLINOIS
ORGANIZER: SPINAL CORD INJURY ASSOCIATION OF ILLINOIS
EVENT DATE: Oct 12, 2014
Dear Family and Friends,
As many of you know, in late July, I joined up with a group of local runners and ran the 2014 Hood-to-Coast Relay - a 200 mile journey from Mt. Hood to Seaside, Oregon! It was a truly amazing experience and combined the love of running with the thrill of working as a team! But now, my focus has turned back to training for the 2014 Chicago Marathon and once again, I'm running to raise funds for the Spinal Cord Injury Association of Illinois - an organization that has helped so many of my patients and I have had the pleasure of working with for over 20 years!
The Spinal Cord Injury Association of Illinois is a comprehensive center for paralyzed persons, families and allied health professionals. Funds raised will help support our services, which include: Information & Referral, Peer Support, Support Groups, Injury Prevention, Educational Programs, Advocacy for Persons with Disabilities, Special Events and Beyond Boundaries.
Thank you always for your well wishes, support and contributions!!
