The Runner’s World Half & Festival started in 2012 as a backyard running event hosted by the editors of Runner’s World magazine. For four years, this event has brought the community together, focusing on health, fitness, and civic engagement. With over $100,000 in non-profit fundraising to date, we’re setting the bar higher this year. In 2016, our goal is for every runner to raise one dollar for every mile, bringing charitable donation goals for the single year to $50,000.
Historically, our event fundraising successes were due to a few hundred race participants fundraising and donating to the charities of their choice. Imagine the impact when all our race participants join together to raise money for the charities near and dear to their hearts.
This year, The Runner’s World Half & Festival is using the CrowdRise platform to encourage every single runner to fundraise. Get started with one click to donate or raise money for our official charity partner, St. Luke’s University Health Network’s Healthy Kids, Bright Futures programming. Our goal is to raise way more money than ever expected and help each race participant have their running make a difference for local non-profit organizations.
Make it even more exciting and band together as an official non-profit team and win additional cash donations for your charity from the Runner’s World Half & Festival!
