BENEFITING: CONCERNS OF POLICE SURVIVORS
On November 6th, 2016, Liz Straub will run the PNC Milwaukee Marathon in full police uniform. That's a ballistic vest, a duty belt, and polyester blues. That's adding roughly twenty pounds of weight for the 26.2 mile run. Liz is a Police Officer for the Village of Whitefish Bay Police Department, located in Milwaukee County. She's running in full uniform to raise awareness about police line of duty deaths, and to raise funds for the C.O.P.S. organization. C.O.P.S. stands for Concerns Of Police Survivors. The organization helps the families of fallen officers.
