The Running for Shelter relay team is a group of 12 do-gooders with a running problem participating in the annual Hood to Coast relay race in Oregon August 26-27, 2016.
Team Running for Shelter will collectively run the 197 mile Hood to Coast course in support of National Church Residences, a leader in integrating home and supportive services for seniors and vulnerable individuals, enabling them to live healthier and more satisfying lives.
This will be the team's 20th Anniversary running Hood to Coast which it has used to raise over $600,000 for nonprofit developers across the country.
There's a reason they call Hood to Coast the "Mother of All Relays." The world's largest relay race will have our runners starting on Friday, August 26 and crossing the finish line approximately 25 hours later. The race starts at Oregon’s famed Mt. Hood and will end in the town of Seaside
