We've blown past my fundraising goal!
August 09, 2016
For the sixth year I'm racing with the The Running for Shelter relay team as part of the Hood to Coast relay race in Oregon to raise money for affordable housing. The team has been racing for 19 years and has raised over $600,000!
The annual Hood to Coast has been called the "Mother of All Relays." The world's largest relay race has over 1,000 teams of 12 people starting on Friday, August 28, in Mt Hood and crossing a finish line 197 miles away in Seaside. It takes place over 24 hours.
Every year we support some non-profit involved in affordable housing and this year we chose National Church Residences, https://www.nationalchurchresidences.org/, a non-profit leader in integrating home and supportive services for seniors and vulnerable individuals, enabling them to live healthier and more satisfying lives. Since 1961, they’ve opened 340 communities in 28 states.
I’m trying to raise $1500. Please consider a tax deductible donation of ANY amount: https://www.crowdrise.com/running-for-shelter1/fundraiser/steveglenn/setup_success/member
If you donate at least $50, I'll sing out your name in delight during one of my late night runs and I'll send you good vibes! For $100 or more, we'll put your name on the side of our van in appreciation! For $200 or more, I'll send you a picture from the road with a thank you!!!
Thank you, again, for any support!!
