BENEFITING: LAST DAY DOG RESCUE INC
Mileage Tracker: 125
The mission of Last Day Dog Rescue (LDDR) is to rescue dogs from high-kill shelters across Michigan and Ohio. LDDR is a foster based rescue that works to place rescued dogs into their forever homes. All dogs coming into the rescue receive a veterinary exam, heartworm test, vaccinations, heartworm and flea/tick preventative, and any injuries or illnesses are treated.
Many of these rescue dogs that have medical needs beyond the basics, often requiring expensive and sometimes ongoing medical expenses. In order to help LDDR continue its mission and help defray these medical expenses, I will be running in an effort to raise money during the month of May 2014. We are asking people to donate money based on my total running mileage during the month. My efforts, along with my mileage totals, will be logged daily on Facebook (www.facebook.com/Running4LDDR) and hope to run somewhere in the 100 to 120 mile range for the month. Whether you want to donate on a per mile basis, or just make a single donation, every dollar that we receive in this fundraising effort will go directly to LDDR’s veterinary fund to help continue to care for our rescues.
