Brittany Arditi wrote -The East Harlem Health Outreach Partnership (EHHOP) is the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai's student-run, physician-supervised free clinic. We provide primary care to uninsured adults in East Harlem at no cost. Consistent with our belief that proper health care is a right, not a privilege, we are committed to providing primary preventive care, diagnosing and treating illness, and fostering health awareness through education and advocacy.
EHHOP is remarkable among student-run, free clinics for its longitudinal, primary care model and the breadth of services it offers. Since its founding in 2004, EHHOP has grown substantially. Now EHHOP serves more than 200 patients annually in more than 1,000 clinic visits across four different medical specialties.
We are raising money to ensure that we can continue to serve the East Harlem community to the best of our abilities. We are looking forward to taking on the challenge of the Brooklyn Half Marathon and hope you will support us in our efforts. Any donation - big or small - is appreciated!
