EVENT: Akron Marathon 2013

Christine Bailey

Quinn Seymour was born August 9, 2011, she had an extremely rare skin condition called Junctional Epidermolysis Bullosa-Herlitz or JEB-H for short. This disease resulted in Quinn, her mommy, daddy, and big brother Camden to temporarily leave their home in Stow, Ohio and live in Minnesota so that Quinn could receive a bone marrow transplant that would hopefully give her a chance at life. Quinn fought every day just to live, in her eight short months of life she endured more pain and suffering then many of us can even imagine. Her struggles were complicated by boughts of pneumonia and although this precious baby girl fought the good fight her battled ended on April 7, 2012 in the loving arms of her mommy and daddy.
Quinn's mommy and daddy are strong in their faith and prayed endlessly and earnestly for their sweet baby girl, they did this at her bedside and would have loved to have been able to go to the chapel for some peace and spiritual quiet time, but unfortunately funds ran out before Amplatz could build a chapel. Quinn's parents are now working very hard to build a chapel where other parents can go to find comfort and hope. This will be Quinn's legacy, but we need your help to make it happen. Will you please help us build The Quinn Seymour Chapel? Will you help us help other families in their time of grief and sorrow to have a quiet place to go when all that is left is hope? Will you help us provide a place of hope and comfort? Visit
