BENEFITING: THE RESCUE EXPRESS
EVENT DATE: May 04, 2014
I am running the 10 mile Broad Street Run in honor of all of the abandoned, abused, neglected and stray dogs and cats that desperately need our help to give them the chance at the life that they deserve. Rescue pets are among the most loving, loyal and grateful beings on earth. Our 501c3 non-profit rescue The Rescue Express www.therescueexpress.org spends thousands and thousands of dollars and works tirelessly to save dogs from high-kill shelters. We never walk away from a dog we have committed to saving no matter how expensive the vet bills will be or how long it may take to rehabilitate a precious soul who has survived a horrible past life. Every single donation can help me reach my goal of raising $2000.00 for our rescue. That's $200 for every mile I am slogging out there! I will post updates on my training and how much my feet hurt. We have saved so many severely ill and neglected dogs and with your help we can save more precious lives. Please help us if you can. Our rescue and homeless dogs are so grateful. Last but not least, I am running this in memory of Buddy Risley who we lost on November 17th at the age of 17. I am so blessed to have had that most precious four- legged soul on my life's journey. Missing him daily, deeply. Thank you for your support!
