Not Going to Let a Little Snow Stop Me
April 19, 2016
I am sure many, if not most, of you reading this know someone that has battled cancer in some form. And many of you have lost someone to cancer. I had a very special woman in my life who not only was an incredible mentor and friend, she truly signified what it meant to live a purposeful life.
In September 2014, Rhoni was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer and given 6 months to live. She courageously battled the disease for 13 months before it ultimately took her life.
The greatest thing we can do as human beings is to help one another and be there for others when they need us the most. Rhoni embodied this like no other person I've ever met. Including being there to help me. Rhoni was there for me when I needed someone to help show me the potential I had. And to encourage me to do the scary things to realize that potential.
It is now my turn to help her. As she is no longer with us, it is my turn to help support her battle against Pancreatic Cancer. Do what I can do to continue her fight against a disease that claims the lives of 95% of it's victims.
Please help me to continue this fight for Rhoni and so many others that have been impacted by Pancreatic Cancer.
