For my Bar Mitzvah project, I would like to make it possible for one or two Bar Mitzvah aged children who cannot otherwise afford it to attend Camp Yavneh for one month of the summer of 2013. I want to share the warm and wonderful feeling I have during the summer at camp with others who might be less privileged than I am. I expect that this experience will deepen their love for Judaism and enrich their life like Yavneh has done for me. Over the next six months (until my Bar Mitzvah), I will be “Running for Yavneh”; I will run a total of 360 miles in the hope that you’ll help sponsor my project. Every mile I run will be closer to sending these children to camp. Please consider sponsoring me (5¢ a mile would be an $18 sponsor, 50¢ a mile would be a $180 sponsor…I know I can make it!) Thank you so much for helping me help others. Now, gotta “RUN”!
