In July of 2014 my father was diagnosed with Stage IV Metastatic Melanoma. 5 years ago that was a 6 month death warning, but due to science, technology, and the extreme hard work and dedication of a few great people great leaps have been made in cancer research. Over 9 months later and 3 treatments and two brain surgeries in we are still fighting and still determined to kick cancer's ass.

As an active man his entire life the treatments have taken a lot our of my dad including his ability to do a lot of the active things he was accustomed to his entire life. Playing tennis, racquetball, softball, with his grand kids, and long walks with the dog were all parts of his life that have had to go on hold through treatment. We are determined to bring all of those things back and more.

The money that I raise in running the NYC Marathon for Melanoma might not directly save or even help my dad, but if it helps one single person in the future to beat the disease and continue their life doing what they love, every minute was worth it.

Thank you everyone for your help and support!
