Running to Ghana
Organized by: Patricia Dyer
I'm going on a mission trip to Ghana this year, and I'm willing to walk, hike, run (even hop!!) in order to get there!
What's the big deal? This mission is SO important because we are helping Ghanaian children, and families with the basic needs to survive as a community. The work we do every year is something the community rely on, and in turn we rely on the generosity of our loved ones, our peers, and even perfect strangers to help get us there. This is also my very first mission, and any support and encouragement I can get, will be a huge help and blessing.
What will I do? To show you that I'm willing to work - I'll be entering myself in pretty much every official walk, hike, or run that I have time for, and will cross as many miles as my little legs can carry me! I'll be posting progress and events on this Facebook page, including pics, shout outs, and I may start a blog. Wooh - exciting!
What can you do? Send me a virtual Hi-5 with your support and donations! All non-anonymous donations will get a super big thank you on my FB page!
If you're reading down to here, you obviously care, and you are quite obviously AWESOME! Well done! If you choose to donate to my cause, I urge you to leave your name, and a message, as I would personally like to thank each and every one of you.
Now, time to get running!
