In America, we can turn on a faucet and watch water go. Pools, sprinklers, and water to rinse our feet at the beach flow freely. We get irritated if our showers run out of hot water, and have dedicated our summers to enjoying multi-million dollar water parks. We are allowed to enjoy water beyond its true purpose of sustaining life. There are people, whole countries, that must ration it. Water for them is scarce and vital. Which is why I am gearing up to run the Chicago Marathon but I need your help! ;) My goal is a $1000 dollars that will go towards the World Vision Water Filtration Program. There are only 12 days left! Anything you can offer is appreciated! Even spreading the word to someone who can help. When you brush your teeth, rinse your finers, or splash some water on your face today, think of that child who has not had water for days.
