BENEFITING: JEWISH GUILD FOR THE BLIND
EVENT DATE: Nov 02, 2014
This November I will be running 26.2 miles through the greatest city on earth.
I am not running for the sake of running.
I am not running for the fun of it (It's 26.2 miles!)
I am not running to break in a new pair of shoes.
I am running for The Jewish Guild for the Blind
If you donate $18 or more I will put your name on my race day shirt.
About the Jewish Guild
Jewish Guild Healthcare’s origins date back to 1914. Our mission then and now is to help people with vision loss live with independence and dignity.
The Guild is a leading not-for-profit, nonsectarian, healthcare organization. We provide a wide range of programs and services that include clinical services, low vision rehabilitation, adult day health care, mental health services, education and programs for individuals with developmental disabilities as well as vision loss, all designed to help people live as independently as possible. We also offer health plans, in which we provide, manage and coordinate healthcare services so that people with long term care and other special needs can live safely at home.
The result: the Guild helps improve the lives of those we serve.
