Hey everyone!! - Updated 1/12/13
I have always enjoyed running, and frequently considered completing a Half-Marathon.. but was finally persuaded to register for one for multiple reasons: firstly, CFF is an important cause to me, due to a best friend battling Cystic Fibrosis, and I wanted to actively participate in the fundraising; secondly, Pittsburgh is my hometown, and a half-marathon around my hometown is probably as good as a half-marathon gets!
Thanks to everyone who has donated, as of today I have reached (and exceeded!) the $400 goal to be registered for the Half-marathon in May! I could not be happier. I am so happy that you, my family and friends, have supported me, but more importantly have supported the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. It is a great foundation and I hope that some day soon they will get to see a cure.
And even though we reached that $400 mark, I will of course be thrilled to receive more donations, should anyone choose to do that.
Thanks a million!!! Time to go RUN (for a CURE!)

Join Team CFF at the 2013 Pittsburgh Marathon and help us raise more money than ever before.
Click the big DONATE button or go one step further and help us fundraise by clicking the CHARITY REGISTRATION button and select Run to Cure CF - PGH Marathon 2013. You’ll get your own fundraising page to share with all your amazing family and friends.
The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is the world’s leader in the search for a cure for cystic fibrosis. We fund more CF research than any other organization, and nearly every CF drug available today was made possible because of Foundation support.
We are a nonprofit donor-supported organization dedicated to attacking cystic fibrosis from every angle. Our focus is to support the development of new drugs to fight the disease, improve the quality of life for those with CF, and ultimately to find a cure.
