EVENT DATE: May 05, 2013
As some of you know, I have been wanting to run my first marathon and to do it in Pittsburgh for my 26th birthday. For this special event, I have decided to run for a reason and support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and my friend Danielle. She has Cystic Fibrosis and thanks to support from friends and family and anonymous donors, she has been able to come out stronger than ever in her battle with this disease. On the day of the run, I will be wearing a race bib with "4Danielle". As much as this is a milestone for me, it will be the thought of her strength that will push me through the last grueling miles of the race. Please donate if you can, or come line the streets and cheer on Team Run for CF!

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is the world’s leader in the search for a cure for cystic fibrosis. We fund more CF research than any other organization, and nearly every CF drug available today was made possible because of Foundation support.
We are a nonprofit donor-supported organization dedicated to attacking cystic fibrosis from every angle. Our focus is to support the development of new drugs to fight the disease, improve the quality of life for those with CF, and ultimately to find a cure.
