We all need to take care of our mental and physical health! While we do that, we can also help displaced Syrian refugees through our contributions both with a moral support and funds achieved for their wellbeing. As Buddha says, "Life is struggling"... but let's all work together towards a better tomorrow for those less fortunate than ourselves.
I created this fundraiser to get people to become active in building a healthier self both by feeling good mentally and physically. Let's get active this summer by running, walking, biking, swimming, hiking, dancing, or whatever sport you like, and at the same time, let's contribute $1 for every mile we run. You can have people donate on your behalf or you can donate yourself. This will motivate you to work harder to achieve a healthier lifestyle all while benefiting a great cause.
To keep track of your miles, you can just download the free runkeeper or nike application onto your smartphone. This will keep track of all your miles whether it's running, walking, biking, dancing, whatever it is!

Family and friends will be able to see how many miles you have achieved. You can even post pictures and videos. All this will let the Syrian refugees know that we care!
