BENEFITING: MYTEAM TRIUMPH
Thank you all for donating to such a great cause and providing families with these special needs strollers to be able to do more with their very special kids. Especially the Campbell family and their daughter Tambryn. I feel this will give them a great opportunity to be together with Tambryn and give the parents some stress relief by walking or jogging. This will be such a wonderful surprise.
We expect to have the strollers around mid- November and will present the Campbell’s with one sometime that month.
God Bless you all!
Ainsley's Angels is thrilled to help ensure two more special families can soon roll with the wind together! With your generosity, we are certain this can happen soon and I know that the positive energy surrounding the start line as we prepare to "roll with the wind" is a therapy like no other.
Here is a note from a dear friend of the first family:
Have you met the Campbell Family? Brad & Jenny demonstrate strength, perseverance, love, and their faith in God daily. Most of you know their daughter, Tambryn (10 yrs. old), who has SMA. Spinal Muscular Atrophy is a group of diseases which affect the motor neurons of the spinal cord and brain stem. Jenny has shared with us on Facebook their struggles and victories, educating and making people aware of the daily obstacles of having SMA.
Most of us take for granted being able to put on some tennis shoes and going for a run. Jenny can’t do that. She doesn’t complain, but she wishes she could get back into running.
That’s where you come in…We are calling on all supporters to donate for a very special gift for Jenny & Tambryn. A special jogging stroller that costs $900 is necessary for Jenny to run with Tambryn. Sarah Rieger, a local pediatrician and member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, facilitates “Run for God”. This is a weekly Bible study and running group that Jenny would love to join. We are so blessed and want to provide the Campbells with something that would bless them and help enrich their lives. Pay it Forward! (Shhh, it's a surprise!)
Our goal is to finance 2 or more strollers for other families with children who have special needs or to have available for use at our church. The first will go to the Campbell family. Please take the time to reflect on your own family and how blessed you are. Then pray for others with special need children to have courage, faith, and perseverance. Then find it in your heart to donate online toward this great opportunity to help others.
YES, YOU CAN...donate 20 or 50 dollars right now to ensure the thrill of rolling with the wind and crossing a road race finish line!
Click the orange button in the upper right of this page or e-mail: AinsleysAngels@yahoo.com for a link to make a donation using PayPay and/or for a mailing address should you prefer to donate by check. We will ensure all donations appear on this page as off-line donations.
