A bike for Paulo!
May 11, 2016
Help us provide mountain bikes to teachers and rural health care workers who currently walk many miles to work. A bicycle would make the commute much easier and more efficient. This means more time spent teaching and caring for the sick.
The first bike is going to a lab tech who works for a health clinic in North Tanzania, she walks a long way each day to reach the clinic. The clinic is sponsored by the Lutheran church in Ketumbeine, Tz.
Michelle's Uncle Scott is an ER doctor currently residing in Florida. He travels many times a year to Kenya and Tanzania to provide healthcare to those in need. He is also working on building a hospital there. He is helping us make the connection to those who need the bikes in Africa. He personally knows these people who could use the bicycles to commute to work.
You can find the link to his website and mission here
or check them out on Facebook - Kilamanjaro Mission Hospital
For every dollar that is donated we will ride a mile.
$1 = 1 mile we ride
All money raised goes towards purchasing bicycles for those in need.
