World Mission Foundation in the course of their outreach programs on HIV/AIDS identified the upsurge in the number of deaths in rural communities of South East states Nigeria which is as a result of unavailability of HIV/ADS clinic in the area.Again a TWENTY THREE YEAR OLD IJEOMA ALAKA NEEDS A KIDNEY! Ijeoma has been ill for most of her life. She was born on Staten Island, New York and managed to graduate high school. She enjoys helping children and if she gets a kidney transplants she wants to attend college to continue studying her interest in child development. Ijeoma's mother is a teacher in the New York City Public Schools.
Ijeoma has to go to a dialysis center 3 times weekly for 4 hour per sessions during each visit. Dialysis is taking its toll on this young woman as it does to all people needing to do regular diaysis treatments over many years. She has to endure frequent hospitalization. Ijeoma had BONE-MARROW-TRANSPLANT in September 2005 at New York after suffering for Eighteen (18) years from a Disease"SICKLE CELL ANEMIA" which she was born with. In other words, this young lady has been sick for the Twenty-Three (23) years of her Life and needs HELP from both God and anyone who can give to her and her family this so much desired HELP.
World Mission Foundation is need of finance to help set up HIV/AIDS clinic to help the oguta rural community as well as sponsor a donor from Africa for Ijeoma Alaka who is in dire need of kidney for a transplant.The kidney transplant is being awaited at Cornell Hospital New York ASAP.
