Russ Boge Memorial Fund

THE STORY:

We lost Russ Boge on July 2, 2016 to complications from pneumonia while battling cancer. When first diagnosed, Russ wasn't sure to what extent he would fight the disease but after losing his brother Shon suddenly in 2014, he was determined to give the fight his best effort, and that he did. He worked diligently to complete the projects he started and finished them all except for one. The '65 Mustang that his wife Shelley purchased from the original owner when she was 16 and has been in the family since, remains unfinished. Russ was injured in that car several years ago when he was t-boned by a driver running a red light. Frustrated by the incident, he found it difficult to repair and decided to wait until he could complete a proper restoration. He disassembled the car and was gathering new parts when his cancer was discovered. The car sits today on a lift waiting for completion. Our goal is to raise funding to complete the repair and restoration and present his wife Shelley with her car restored in a way that Russ would be proud to show and see.
