BENEFITING: National Organization for Rare Disorders, Inc.
EVENT DATE: Nov 03, 2013
Earlier this year, Natalie Ungari, a good friend, mother of two beautiful daughters, and wife to my friend Mike Ungari, died at age 35. Everyone who knew Natalie loved her: her effect on people was that simple and important. Natalie's form of cancer was quite rare, which is why I'm asking you to to support the National Organization for Rare Disorders in Natalie's memory. NORD is dedicated to research and advocacy for patients with the type of cancer that science has difficulty treating. It's an organization fighting for treatment options for those who have none.
I'll be running the NYC Marathon for the second time. It's really one of of the best days in NYC -- even if you're trying to suffer through 26.2 miles. Hope to see you all out there.
