In February of 2013, I learned about Ryan Diviney and the tragic, appalling and utterly wicked event that changed so many peoples’ lives forever. As I read from www.ryansrally.org, I cried so hard for Ryan, his family, my family and although brief, for the disturbed young men who carried out this horrendous act.
After reading, crying and then getting really angry, I said ‘What can I do? Who do I know? How can I raise awareness and LOTS of money?’
So far with fundraisers and such, I have raised over $1,500 BUT I am not done and This is not over...as Ken says; we will not give up until Ryan does. And from what I saw of Ryan, a few weeks ago, he is not letting go anytime soon.

"I tell him I have tried. I have tried to keep memory alive, that I have tried to fight those who would forget. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented. There is so much injustice and suffering crying out for our attention. We must take sides. We must interfere.
Our goal is provide for his care, comfort, and treatment. Secondarily, to share his story so that it resonates in society about the effects of TBI (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Traumatic_brain_injury) and violence.'
