BENEFITING: RYAN ANDREW KAISER MEMORIAL FOUNDATION
EVENT DATE: Jun 25, 2011
On June 25, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. the Ryan Andrew Kaiser Memorial Foundation (RAKMF) along with the Jersey Shore Running Club will once again hold one of Monmouth County’s premier running events Ryan’s Run – an annual 5k run and 1 mile fun run/walk on the grounds of Mountain Hill School in Middletown, New Jersey.
Celebrating its seventh year, Ryan’s Run has become a favorite among the running community due to its well-crafted course of trails and roads through Middletown’s scenic horse country and serenity of Huber Woods.
Attracting both runners and humanitarians alike, the race subsidizes the RAKMF whose funds have helped support approximately 50 families, nationwide, through direct grants and funding for medical treatment and lodging in addition to the construction of six new memorial playgrounds.
How this event delivers for those we aim to help:
- The race fees for 2 runners pay for a family to stay one night at a hotel while their child is in the hospital. We've helped dozens of families cope with the unforeseen financial issues associated with hospital and home care of critically ill child.
- We continue to deliver financial grants and funding to Dr's and Hospitals for work done in the areas of infant cardiology.
- We've funded playrooms in hospitals and financial assistance to Ronald McDonald House.
- We build and refurbished parks for children to play safely in and get proper exercise to help ensure their health and growth.
Please donate and join our team to help support the Ryan Andrew Kaiser Memorial Foundation. If you are running in this month's race, click the "Help Us Fundraise" button above and send your project page to all of your friends and family asking them to sponsor your race.
Thank you for your heartfelt and continued support.
