The Belk College of Business at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte encourages students to study abroad, as it a way for students to unlock their potential and become globally aware in the business world. I was selected to study abroad at the University of Mannheim for the upcoming Spring semester. The University of Mannheim is a prestigious business school in the heart of Europe. Consistently ranked as the #1 Business School in Germany and #106 in the world, the University of Mannheim does an exceptional job preparing students to prosper in the business world.

I'm currently an Economics student with a minor in International Management. This study abroad program will allow me to complete my minor as well as continue to work towards fulfilling my major requirements. As a student, this is an incredible opportunity to gain a global perspective that will become an enormous asset as I move closer towards graduation. Additionally, I hope to at the very least leave Germany with a significantly stronger understanding of the German language as I will have the opportunity to test my knowledge on a daily basis.

This opportunity will give me the experience of a lifetime and knowledge that I otherwise would not acquire from a textbook or a professor.

Unfortunately, the cost of going abroad as well as living in Germany for roughly six months are rather high. I am actively pursuing scholarships in the meantime and have decided to start a Crowdrise Fundraiser for anybody that is interested in helping me fund my experience abroad.

All donations will help fund:
Tuition and Fees
Transportation and Living Expenses
International Health Insurance
Textbooks and Course Utensils

Thank you for your support!
