BENEFITING: Children's Cardiomyopathy Foundation, Inc.
EVENT DATE: Sep 20, 2014
This is our 1st annual Rylan Bros. Carnival for Pediatric Cardiomyopathy to raise awareness and money for the Children's Cardiomyopathy Foundation in honor of our son, Rylan Lombardo. Born on October 24, 2013, Rylan was diagnosed at 5 weeks old with chronic heart disease, known as hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
Pediatric cardiomyopathy is one of the most serious heart conditions affecting children and the leading cause for heart transplants and sudden cardiac arrest in the young. Approxinately 30,000 children in the US are diagnosed with some form of cardiomyopathy.
All proceeds from our vintage street carnival will go directly to the CCF, in hopes that one day a cure will be found for cardiomyopathy. To find out more about the CCF organization, please go to their website at www.childrenscardiomyopathy.org.
We hope you can join us for an afternoon of fun for the whole family as we help raise money and awareness for pediatric cardiomyopathy!
