Active Minds, Inc. is a national nonprofit organization that empowers students to speak openly about mental health and mental illness in order to educate others and increase help-seeking. We aim to change the culture and conversation on campuses and in the community surrounding these issues.
The Active Minds Student Advisory Committee (SAC) is a selected group of college students who serve as leaders, mentors, and advisors for Active Minds, Inc. At the annual Active Minds Mental Health on Campus Conference, we (SAC) host a networking event for all student attendees which brings together our student advocates to share stories, ideas, inspriaration, and to kick of the conference. The event is called Mocktail.
We are responsible for ALL aspects of planning the Mocktail, including finding the money to run it!
The SAC needs YOUR help to fundraise for this important aspect of Conference and to help inspire the next generation of leaders in mental health advocacy!
