The brothers of Sigma Alpha Epsilon at the Illinois Beta chapter have decided to donate all proceeds from their annual Paddy Murphy Week philanthropy event to the American Heart Association in honor of Mary Beth McKoane Koelling, mother of brother Ryan Ingram ('15) who passed away suddenly in October 2013 while on a business trip in Dallas.
Mary Beth was a lifelong Barrington resident, a member of St. Michael's Episcopal Church, Executive Vice President of Operations at Practical Communications, and a tireless volunteer for many local organizations. A graduate of Elgin Academy and Boston College, Mary Beth was an accomplished skier, and loved tennis, golf, fitness, her family and friends. She was married to David, the love of her life, and they were inseparable. Her sons, Danny and Ryan Ingram, and her stepchildren, Jessen and Jorie Koelling gave her constant joy. She was a proud and devoted mother; Mary Beth's family was the center of her universe. As busy as she was raising four children and working full time, Mary Beth always made time for her friends and extended family. She was loved by all who knew her, and highly respected in her business.
Any donation amount will be greatly appreciated by the Koelling/Ingram family as well as the brothers of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. Please take the time to forward this to anyone you believe would be interested in donating.
