BENEFITING: VISIONS MADE VIABLE
Help Jack Muliika buy his own safari van!! Many of you know and love Jack, he has driven you around Kampala, up to Gulu, west to see the Gorillas and deep into the bush and many other places in and around Uganda.
For those of you who don't know Jack he is by far one of the best drivers in Uganda, for 10 years he has been driving Missions Teams, Aid Organizations and groups on safari all around Uganda. He is extremely knowledgable of his country, patient and alert when driving in Kampala jams and maintains a happy disposition at all times.
Helping Jack buy his own van will double his earning potential from $20.00 a day to $40.00 a day a siginificant pay increase.
Jack's patience and humor are just two of the reasons people love him as a driver. He remains cool and calm during even the most stressful jams in Kampala.
Jack is known for his compassion when out in the field with mission teams often spending his own money for small sweets or water for small children whose mother's have little to give them.
Founder and President Jen Gash of Sweet Sleep had this to say about Jack on her Facebook page: "I'm gonna call today "Make a Difference Monday". Jackson Muliika is a sweet Ugandan friend of mine. As someone who has led international teams for 11 years, I take safety seriously. Jack is always my first choice for a driver when I'm in country; I trust him, his keen eye and responsible choices. But, Jack isn't just a driver...he has a huge heart for ministry. Most drivers choose to stay with their vehicle and rest, not Jack. His keen eye is always watching for where help is needed...be it going to buy supplies which would help us in our field work, talking to an elderly grandma about her health needs, running to buy food or clothes for children with these needs, giving a hand to a weary volunteer...whatever the need, Jack watches for it and is present. Now, we can help Jack. All these years, Jack has rented vans to drive teams around. He's working to raise support to buy his own van, and doing so could increase his daily earnings from $20 to $40. Pretty remarkable. Check out this fundraising page and consider giving your coffee, meal or mad money to a trusted, worthy, hard-working and dear friend. Thanks all! Share if you'd like!"
