SAF’s Circle of Succe$$ program is intended to serve Montana students who are attending Montana postsecondary institutions and are in their second, third, or fourth year of education. SAF recognizes that scholarships for continuing students are more difficult to find than scholarships for first time freshman. As a result, SAF seeks to support students who need a little extra financial assistance in completing their postsecondary degrees. This scholarship also has the ability to serve nontraditional students, many of whom are single parents, by requiring only half time enrollment. Myra of Helena, MT was one of these single parents, and the Circle of Succe$$ scholarship made a huge difference to her. The additional funding allowed her to take some time off of one of her several jobs, and her GPA went from a 2.5 to a 4.0! Now Myra has graduated, and was able to get one, better paying job to support her family. Most scholarships are all about recruitment--getting students in to schools. Circle of Succe$$ is all about supporting students so they can finish their degrees. The Circle of Succe$$ program is especially close to the hearts of SAF employees, as the employees began the program through voluntary payroll deductions. SAF’s employees are still at the center of the program, and remain critical donors to the project. Your help makes it possible for our program to support more students like Myra, and help Montana student's achieve their dreams of higher education.
