I'm Saidat, the initiator and lead facilitator of Girls Go! project. I'm a medical doctor and public health professional with several years of professional experience in public health consulting, involving operational, clinical and research activities spanning Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya and United Kingdom. Identified as a rising star among young Nigerian health professionals, I was selected as an ExxonMobil Global Health Scholar to study at Oxford University, where I later graduated with Distinction in MSc International Health and Tropical Medicine. While at Oxford, she served as a UK STEM Ambassador enabling young people to see the opportunities within STEM careers so that the UK maintains a flow of well-motivated, high-quality individuals into STEM jobs.
Also a Chevron Scholar and recipient of multiple awards and scholarships, I hope to inspire academic and leadership excellence in the next generation of young women through the Girls Go! initiative.
