BENEFITING: SALEM COUNTY WOMENS SERVICES
The Salem County Women's Services needs our help. They have lost $55,000 in funding for 2013 and without the help of our community, services to victims of domestic violence will be reduced. All funds raised through this website will be donated to SCWS on behalf of the donor in the name of The Women of Salem County.
Salem County Women's Services offers help for individuals who are suffering from domestic violence. Services include an emergency shelter, individual counseling, support groups, legal referrals and court preparation, parent skills training, educational materials, networking/information and referral, and an Alternatives to Violence Group for batterers.
Salem County Women's Services also offers support for rape victims, including accompaniment to hospital and police station, individual counseling, support groups, educational materials and information and referrals.
Salem County Women's Services is a non-profit organization serving the needs of women and their families since 1987. SCWS is supported through donations, the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs, and the United Way of Salem County.
Free, confidential support for anyone who fears for their personal safety. If you or someone you care about is suffering from an abusive relationship, call the 24 hour hotline: TTY-935-7118
