Hello Family and Friends,
This birthday I would like to kindly ask you to send your birthday gifts to Bridge to Turkiye Foundation in order to assist the Syrian refugee children of Turkey. As some of you know, in the past year I participated in a research project that investigated the educational opportunities and challenges of Syrian refugee children. Throughout the project, I have observed that even 100$ monthly contributions have enabled some children to quit working and attend schools. Unfortunately, I have also learned that there are also thousands, if not millions of students who were not able to attend the schools because of the lack of resources. However, we can make a difference!
Thanks to your support, Bridge to Turkiye will
1.Create sense of community, sense of belonging
2.Bring predictability and structure in their lives
3.Provide social and cultural integration
4.Help children achieve developmental progress and continuity in their education
5.Gain back the years that they lost lifting them up for a better life!
I have met some of the volunteers that Bridge to Turkey is collaborating with during my research in Istanbul and I can assure you that the volunteers were very charitable, open-minded, and compassionate individuals who spend each penny very carefully in order to maximize the benefits for students.
