Clarke’s Listening Walk at the Zoo is a fun family event to raise awareness and support for children with hearing loss, like my son Salvatore! Clarke teaches children who are deaf or hard of hearing to listen and talk. It’s really amazing, yet most people don’t know that it’s even possible.
We hope to raise awareness about the impressive potential that these children have for success in school and in life. Many kids go to Clarke as infants and are now thriving in mainstream schools right alongside their hearing peers. This event will also be engaging and educational for children with typical hearing.
