BENEFITING: BREAST CANCER COALITION OF ROCHESTER INC
EVENT DATE: May 11, 2014
In december 2005, I just got home from school and my mom and dad told me my mom was just diagnosed with breast cancer. I thought my heart had just stopped. Everything around me didn't seem real, cancer the first thing that came to mind was i cant lose my mom. I ran out of the house crying and went to my aunt Laura's house. After i calmed down, i went home and just hugged her. Everything was going to be ok because she was a fighter. After the first chemo treatments and her hair falling out, i started to see my mom break and i knew i had to be her rock and i was there for her as much as i could. Standing by her she was always my rock and i was now her's. After all was said and done she kicked cancers ass, i look at my mom in another light. She is the strongest women i will ever know and she will forever be my survivor star!!! Love you mom.
