Together we can transform lives in our community.
Deadline to donate: April 26, 2013
The Richard E. Lindner YMCA is committed to improving the quality of life for men, women, and children across our community. But, we need your help. Your generosity helps nurture the potential in children and youth, promotes healthy living, and fosters a sense of social responsibility. At the Y, we believe that lasting personal and social change can only come about when we all work together to invest in our kids, our health, and our community.
The Richard E. Lindner YMCA engages over 1,700 individuals each year, including almost 300 families. Supporting youth development, the Richard E. Lindner Y helps almost 100 kids be successful in school through the afterschool programs, keeps over 100 kids minds and bodies active all summer long through day camp programs, and launches over 20 kids on a path of life-long learning through the preschool program. In line with the Y’s healthy living focus, the youth sports programs promote teamwork and build self confidence while teaching the fundamental skills of the game. The Y also teaches over 200 swim lessons each year, ensuring everyone is safe and has fun around water. And every day, hundreds of people pursue their health and wellness goals by working out in the fitness center or participating in a group fitness class. No matter where you look, you see people learning, growing and thriving.
The Richard E. Lindner YMCA strives to raise $6,750 in the 2013 community annual support campaign. Collectively, in 2012, the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati awarded nearly $3 million in financial assistance to people in our community. Together we can do so much more for our community. When you give to the Y, your gift will have a meaningful, enduring impact right in your own neighborhood. Make a gift today.
