Running the Distance for Suicide Prevention
Thanks for visiting my Boston Marathon page!
I have been an advocate for Samaritans since 2003 when I lost my father to suicide. Since 2005 I have been a member of Samaritans' Board of Directors.
In 2012, I will be taking my commitment to Samaritans and their life-saving work to a new level: I will be running the Boston Marathon to create of awareness of Samaritans and its suicide prevention efforts, and to raise funds for this terrific organization.
I hope you will chose to contribute to this important cause. It's easy, simply click the big orange DONATE button on the top of this page. My commitment is $5,000...please help me achieve it.
No matter how you decide to contribute, please know that your support will help ensure that Samaritans' confidential and anonymous befriending services remain available to the members of our community who are feeling lonely, desperate and suicidal.
Thank you so much!
