THE STORY:

THE SAMARITANS INC wrote -

Support TEAM SAMARITANS Rhode Island at the 2013 Citizens Bank Pell Bridge Run 2013!

"Cross the Bridge to Hope" is the theme of our first-ever event as TEAM SAMARITANS RI - runners and walkers from the Ocean State participating in the Citizens Bank Pell Bridge Run Saturday, November 10, 2013.

We are not just a sign on the bridge...we are Rhode Islanders who live, work and volunteer to break the stigma associated with suicide prevention and asking for help!

When you support TEAM SAMARITANS you will help raise needed funds to operate our Crisis Hotline/Listening Line, Safe Place grief support group, Youth and Teen education and Community Education programs.

Run or walk, support, donate and give to remember a loved one or friend or to honor someone special.

Established in 1977, The Samaritans is Rhode Island's most trusted name in suicide prevention.

One hundred percent - 100% -  of all funding to The Samaritans of RI supports our local, nonprofit organization.  Our board members and volunteers are comprised of local residents and students who live, work, study and volunteer in our state!

For all of the teens who suffer without support, and those who are able to work hard through their issues, moving past their time of darkest thoughts. Congratulations to all who support the Samaritans! 5 years ago
