Sami and Faiths Summer Camp Dreams

After what has been a very challenging year for all of us the summer Is finally here, and with it comes summer camp. Transitioning from Elementary School into Jr. High School was no small feat for either of the girls but they both rose to the ocassion, put in the hard work needed are exiting the 7th grade with all A's & B's (one "C".) Both girls also had to learn to accept and deal with the relocation of their much loved older brother Noah in their own way often taking their focus off of school. This experience proved to be yet another success for both Sami and Faith that has reinforced just how mature and wise they are becoming. I would like to show them both that hard work and perserverance pay off by being able to send them both to the summer camps of their choosing. Faith would like to continue her music instruction on the Bass Clarinet and her school is hosting a program that will run 5 days per week for two weeks at the cost of $300 for the entire two week period immediately following the last day of school. She has already been accepted to and received a full scholarship to attend a week-long camp for girls called App Camp For Girls. It is a technology based camp that was started in Seattle, Washington (Faith will be studying in Ranch Santa Margarita, Ca.) The week (at the end of August) is spent teaching programming basics while the girls create and design their own working IPhone applications. Samantha has decided to join the Jr. Lifeguards of Lake Mission Viejo. This program runs three half days per week for a full 8 week period promises to teach the basics of water saftey, lifeguarding, sailing, stand up paddleboarding, and kayaking. This camp also includes three to four full day outings includes a local water park, a beach day and the Long Beach Aquarium. The fee for the8 week program including the required uniform sports a $500 price tag!! Any help I could get from our family and friends to cover these costs would be so greatly appreciated as I can not afford the $800 alone due to the fact that my current job is ending soon when my boss relocates to Washington State at the end of July and honestly when I add the summer camp tuition fees to all other needs of my two wonderful girls, it's just a heck of a lot of money for one person to come up with. Thank you so much for your help rewarding both Sami and Faith for all of the hard work they have put into the past year.
