BENEFITING: The Millennium Campus Network
I head the Millennium Campus Network, a national non-profit that empowers campus organizations to be more effective and sustainable in their efforts to reduce extreme poverty. Since 2007, we've empowered more than 4,000 campus leaders with the insights and resources to increase their service on campus and in schools, health clinics, and clean water initiatives ranging from Uganda, to India, to Nicaragua and beyond (here's one example).
This August, I turn 27 years old. I'm really excited about it! I'll be celebrating at bday parties in NYC August 10th and Boston August 24th. You are invited! Most importantly, I want to raise $1,000+ to celebrate my bday as we prepare for our fifth annual conference (mcc2013.org) and the launch of a fellowship program to help make 10 campus organizations highly effective in their work tackling poverty. Our work together will empower student leaders to effectively address pressing global leaders and equip them with the tools and resources to be the next generation of global leaders.
$10 and I'll be deeply grateful. Every dollar makes a difference.
$25, and I'll give you a big hug at my bday (or next time I see you).
$50, and I'll thank you in my big bday Facebook post.
$100, a FB thank you & you get a ticket to our exclusive Awards event in Boston (globalgenerationawards.org).
$1000+...all the above, and you get on the Host Committee at our Awards (includes VIP Reception).
$2500+...all the above, and you are listed as a Sponsor at the Awards (details at the Awards website).
$1,000,000,000...let's talk. Call me anytime...day or night. 1am, no problem. I wasn't sleeping anyways.
If we raise $1,000+ together, I'll dance to almost any song (I'm thinking Call Me Maybe but am open to suggestions), record a funny video, and send it to everyone. Embarrassing? Yes. Worth it...without question.
It feels great to give back, and I promise you we will make a big impact for youth leaders and the communities they partner with. Be part of the generation to end extreme poverty. Join us, contribute today, and let me thank you for being one of the coolest people I know. As our Board Member Sol Guy once said, "Live to give." Let's make it happen.
