Testimonies of parents and students on our website (http://www.sabusybodies.org)and Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/SAbusybodies) share the life-changing impact Busy Bodies has had on their lives. Sessions run for six weeks throughout the year for Fall, Spring, and Summer (two per semesters) requiring ongoing support for program sustainability. Families and students participate in 1 or more sessions depending on individual need. Unfortunately, this help and intervention can only continue with your generous donation of $15 per session (2 per week per child) to maintain the goal of keeping fees at a reasonable rate for families receiving this much needed support for their child.
Please consider donating to support a child and family in need. There is very little more challenging to a family than the emotional, physical, and academic well being of a child struggling in school, an experience many of us have endured and no one would want to repeat. Please share with your friends as we pull together as a community to support this children and their families in need. Thank you for your support and keeping the message going!
One of our parents describes SA Busy Bodies as a "hidden jewel" on the Northeast side of town and it truly is. Dr. Robert Strauss and his small, highly effective team have worked with many families seeking answers and support for children struggling with attention, sensory, behavior, and academic needs. Often times parents come to Busy Bodies from recommendations of friends, schools, and professionals looking for someone to help identify why their child is struggling with solutions. Fortunately, Busy Bodies has provided support and skill development that last a life time for many families over the past decades in our Greater San Antonio community.
Focusing on physical, emotional, and academic needs of the child, Dr. Strauss and his team conduct detailed individual assessments to develop individual treatment plans for each child through interactive fine and gross motor skill development in a positive environment. A truly non-profit organization where every penny goes to the needs of the client, their goal has been and remains to provide help for students who are "falling through the cracks" in schools at a reasonable rate that families afford. Something definitely needed in today's rising medical costs!
