Dear Friends and Family,
Once again our community at Sage's school, Sand Hill, is fundraising in order to help cover the gap between what we pay in tuition and the actual operating expenses of the school. The progress that Sage has made since starting in 5th grade is incredible. Sage is now in 6th grade and in their middle school program. During this time she has gone from a 2nd grade math level to a 4th grade math level. She has gone from a 3rd grade reading level to a 4th grade reading level. But not only that, she actually understands what she is reading now! Most importantly, she has found a new love of learning. She is engaged in science, history, art and music. She understands what she is being taught and comes home with an excitement about learning that we've never seen before. She is learning how to self advocate and how to work collaboratively on group projects. She is learning how to stand up for herself with her peers and and has a level of confidence we have never seen before.
We are so grateful for the teachers, specialists, leadership and resources that Sand Hill School has offered us and can't wait to see Sage continue to soar here!
Thank you for anything you can give to keep this program flourishing!

Support Sand Hill School through our first annual Stingray Shuffle , to be held Sunday, October 30, 2016. Students will complete a six-station shuffle, earning points at each station by completing fun tasks such as hoola-hooping and jumping rope. The event goal is to raise $35,000. Each student has a goal of raising $500. Proceeds from this event will help support music, science and technology needs at the school.
We are excited to announce that one of our families is offering a $2,500 challenge match toward the purchase of a much needed microscope for our science program - so your gifts will have double the impact!
This is the school’s only fundraiser of the year -- please help us make it a success. Join our community and sponsor a student today!
